Will power!

There are so many words that are used in the world of working out…

“Let’s go”, “You can do it”, “Keep motivated”, “You got this”, “Stay strong”, “Work hard”, “No excuses”.

But i think the only words that’s made the most impact is “Will power”. It is will power that somehow convinces you that doing a “1 minute Plank challenge” is a good idea!! (i’d rather go through child-birth again!)

It takes will power to not have all that Cadbury dairy milk block of chocolate, or eat that whole packet of Doritos cheese supreme corn chips, or rip open those Choc-coated peanuts (that taste absolutely amazing from the fridge).

It’s will power that tells me to only have ONE of those delicious caramel slices i have freshly baked for the 50th time this year! (it’s okay, i cut them really small and use unsalted butter, hehe).

They say it is 80% diet and 20% exercise.
Gosh, i had this so wrong… I was doing 80% snacks and 20% coffee.

Getting healthy-ish has been such a personal journey, which ironically i have made public via Facebook and now this blog (haha). But anyway, it’s a story worth sharing and there have been too many funny stories along the way to keep to myself.

I was the girl who considered climbing into bed every night some exercise, now working out and eating better has become such an important part of me and sits highly in the pro’s column on my life list.
