I’m very new to this blogging world… actually, i’m new to writing in general but what better way to practise writing by starting a blog (sounds easy why not). To be honest, it’s so much fun (except for trying to figure out WordPress).

So, this year i decided to do something a bit crazy and enrolled in a creative writing course (which i’ve always wanted to learn) and being 40-ish, now was the time to do it.

And then my train of thought went a bit like this…

Will i be any good at writing?
Should i blog to practise a bit??
Would anyone read my blogs???
How do i even create a blog????
What is a good blog name?????

After some brainstorming…
Life, according to me (nope)
The lighter side of life (too long)
The world according to me (also too long)
The universe according to me (it’s getting longer)
…coming up with a name is harder than i thought…
Life + Blah (ooooh)
A Life of Blah (hmmmmm)

Life of Blah! (yesssss, WINNER)
A quick search “your domain name is available” (yessssss)

Here’s what i’ve learnt in my one week of this blog life…

• The themes look nothing like the previews, haha.
• WordPress is hard at first, but just play around.
• Pay to setup properly, do the survey (50% off).
• WordPress send 100 emails a day, try read them.
• Once you pass layout stage, blogging is so fun!

Let’s hope i put a great domain name to good use and someone reads my blogs, have fun reading about me.
